The Philippe Starck Kong modern barstool was originally designed for a chinese restaurant, inspired by Versailles, and then handmade in Pennsylvania. 

The Kong modern barstool has all the savvy of a Philippe Starck original design and the quality and craftmanship of Emeco who has been making qaulity aluminum chairs since 1944.
