The Luma modern bench is a clean modern design which consists of an anodized aluminum frame.  The surface can be South American certified ipe wood or marine-grade polyboard with various color options. 

Certification of Ipe wood means it is quality, but also harvested under guidelines to help protect the environment.  Ipe wood is a very durable and solid dense wood great for outdoor use.  The natural oils in the wood make it resistant to rot, insects, sunlight, weather, and splintering - like teak but three times harder!  It has a tighter grain and darker reddish brown finish.   It is beautiful, durable, and adds charm to this collection.  Poly-Board material is a nice alternative maintenance free.
