This unique contemporary lighting is a frosted glass milkbottle with a bulb inside hanging from a chrome top. Contemporary lighting sophistication surrounds this lamp object whether in a corner emitting a soft warm glow or on a tabletop standing or suspended in a group and proudly presenting its unique design elegance and humor based on an older world charm of the classic milk bottle. It is sure to gain the attention and praise of any onlookers.

Droog Design means "dry design" in Dutch. It was founded by Renny Ranmakers who began by setting up a foundation with Gijs Bakker in spring of '93.  Droog Design has been distinguished by their innovative concepts and contemporary lighting. Their designs have been described in terms of "humor" and "intelligence." Nonetheless, they are creative and unique, and are lovely additions to your home decor and contemporary lighting.

Please note: It is a European lamp and CE certified and not UL listed.  We will replace the European bulb with the proper US bulb so it will burn at the full 15 watt capacity.  This contemporary lighting takes an 110v E14 15watt pygmy bulb.  You may put a 25watt bulb into it for a brighter light, but we do not recommend it because of the heat.
