The Monacca Wood Purse - Maru, is made by craftsmen with only carefully selected material from cedar thinned wood and individually sewn by hand.  Fashion and design come together her brilliantly!

Description:  
For the Maru bag strong canvas is used for the edges and the handle is of leather. They have a water repellent finish for practical use.  The leather strap is strong enough so that the bag can be carried while wrapped around the arms.  It can also be carried over the shoulder.

The bags are unique due to the natural materials being used. Their quality increases with age like well used furniture.  There are no other bags in the world like them!

This bag comes in 6 colors.  All use natural materials and ecological friendly urethane coating.  The plain and plain/brown bag have a natural transparent coating.  The brown bag has a dyed coating.

Monacca is a brand name for products made of thinned Japanese cedar in Umaji Village, Kochi Prefecture in Japan. It features a natural warm touch, light and user friendly, strong because it's made of press-laminated wood, and the only item with different natural grains.
