Description: Kaku, a modern briefcase made of cedar from Japan. Strong canvas is used for the edges and the handle is of leather. It has water repellent finish for practical use and it's so light that it floats on water. It is specially designed so that even the largest laptop computer will fit inside. Fits 17" notebook computers.
The briefcases are unique due to the natural materials being used. Their quality increases with age like well used furniture. They are well-made and hand-crafted. There are no other bags in the world like them!
The briefcase comes in several different colors. All use natural materials and ecological friendly urethane coating. The plain briefcase has a natural transparent coating. Tannin is persimmon tanning coating. The brown colored one comes with or without a shoulder strap. A new collection is available In pink or in black with shoulder straps.
Monacca is a brand name for products made of thinned Japanese cedar in Umaji Village, Kochi Prefecture in Japan. It features a natural warm touch, light and user friendly, strong because it's made of press-laminated wood, and the only item with different natural grains.
